I was looking for something new to do this year with my class for Valentine's Day and came across this idea on pinterest which then lead me to the firstgradeparadeblog where I got the worksheet for this activity.
We have been working hard on story elements in 1st class. The last two weeks have been spent on BME (beginning, middle, end). I read this story to my class and then on the worksheet I got from firstgradeparadeblog had my kids pick out the BME of the story. Afterwards we created Polly the Piglet Jigsaw pigs.
