Chinese New Year

This year we are celebrating Chinese New Year - The Year of the Goat 

We did some chinese painting and chinese cutting.

Buddhism

We covered Buddhism for the month of January under the Belief Strand in Learn Together.

After the class learned all about Buddha, in pastels they created their own Buddhas.

I also got the class to recreate a Buddhist painting with Buddha sitting under a tree. 

I displayed their work outside our classroom in the corridor.
